Half-Life is the time it takes for half of the original sample of a radioactive isotope to decay.[1] Knowing these decay rates are important for dating, such as with carbon-14.
Other Uses
[www.halflife2.zoy.org Half-Life] is also the name of a popular video game franchise. It is composed of two games, Half-Life and Half-Life 2, both of which are first person shooter style games.(ESRB rating: M).
