Pope Alexander VI

Pope Alexander VI was born in Spain, January 1, 1431. Alexander was the one who named the Line of Demarcation that awarded some of the new world discoveries to Spain and others to Portugal.
Like many rich boys of that time, Alexander had always wanted to a be a priest but his family discouraged the idea.
