Good News

The Good News is a term used to describe the story of Christ's coming to earth and dying on behalf of all mankind. The story of Jesus is told in the Gospels. The term "Good News" is used numerously in the Bible and comes from the Greek euaggelion (which is also translated as simply "the Gospel" and from which the word "evangel" or "evangelism" comes). It means a "good message." Jesus Christ, Himself, used "good news" or "euaggelion" including "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mark 16.15) --PASTORKOK3 14:27, 18 April 2008 (EDT)
