Interphase

The Interphase is the time interval between cellular reproduction.[1] Most cells spend approximately 90% of their time in Interphase, when the normal cell activities are completed.
Stages of Interphase
G1 phase (First Gap Phase): The phase before DNA is replicated. The cell begins to increase in mass.
S phase (Synthesis Phase): The phase in which DNA is replicated.
G2 phase (Second Gap Phase): The phase right before prophase. The cell continues to increase in mass.[2]
