Christopher, you are sadly mistaken. "Michelangelo" is the correct spelling. Please don't question me. I know these things. Michelangelo is an Italian name. The vowel combination "ae" does not even exist in the Italian Language! "Michael" is the English spelling of the Italian name "Michele"... which are both spelled and pronounced differently. Thus, not only is "Michelangelo" the correct spelling, but "Mee-keh-LAHN-jeh-loh" is the correct pronounciation.
