Leucippus

Leucippus (lew sip' us),(birth and death unknown), Greek scientist.
Althought next to nothing is known about Leucippus, historians believe that by building off the concept of Anaximenes, he came up with the idea that all things are made up of teeny units called atoms. Therefore, Leucippus is known as the father of atomic theory.
