Tenor saxophone

The Tenor Saxophone is a saxophone in the key of B♭. It is a single-reed woodwind instrument. It is used very commonly in back-ups and solos in jazz bands and ensembles. It is lower than the C Melody Saxophone, and higher than the Baritone Saxophone.
