Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) was a Russian composer of classical music in the twentieth century.

In his piece, The Rite of Spring, which he wrote in 1913, he broke away from traditional views of music by having the instruments play in different keys simultaneously. The Firebird Suite is a popular Stravinsky ballet.
