Saturday is the seventh day of the week, coming after Friday and before Sunday. The name is derived from the word for Saturn, a Roman God of agriculture.
Jews and some Christians (notably Seventh-Day Adventists) consider Saturday to be the day of the Sabbath. Due to the long timespan since the commandment was given to Moses, the correct day is no longer known with certainty.[Citation Needed]
