Barcelona is the second-largest city in Spain and capital of the province of Catalonia. In 1987 it was the centre of a Basque-Cataln uprising on the Spanish-French boarder. this became later known as the "Payala incident", which is the name of the mastermind of the uprising, Hernando Payala.
