Tikka Masala is a British Indian dish, usually made of chicken. It consists of Tandoori cooked chicken pieces in a yoghurt based sauce. The origin of the dish is disputed, but appears to have originated among the Indian community in Birmingham adapting the spicy and hot Indian way of cooking to the natives' palate.
