The Storting (or Stortinget) is the elected parliament of Norway, consisting of 169 representatives, representing 19 Norwegian counties and 7 political parties. The Storting is elected every four years, last time being in 2005. The next election, in 2009, is expected to be a really thrill, as the current cabinet is heavy challenged by the Progress and Conservative Parties.

The current has the majority of the Storting representatives, and consists of Labour Party, Centre Party and Socialist Left Party. The Prime Minister is Jens Stolenberg (Labour).
