Henry Winkler (born 1945) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Principal Himbry in the 1996 Wes Craven film Scream.[1] The thesis of the Scream trilogy, which starred Neve Campbell as a college-age girl (and attractive, in a Jamie Lee Curtis sort of way) being stalked by a series of homicidal psychopaths, was that the stylized violence depicted in Hollywood films and video games was responsible for much of the real-life violence that we see in the world today.[2] However, this thesis was somewhat undercut by a scene in the first movie in which the killers (played by Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard) discuss their motives, saying: "It's the millennium. Motives are outdated."

Winkler also appeared briefly in the 2008 Adam Sandler movie You Don't Mess with the Zohan, and had a recurring role on Arrested Development as "Barry Zuckerkorn".[3]
