Edge

An edge' is a line or border at which an object terminates, or a line at which two objects meet. In the abstract sense, it can mean an advantage in an argument or debate, i.e. "John McCain gained the edge in the presidential campaign."
It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to sharpen", or in the aforementioned abstract definition.
