1. 1.) The high taxes played a part 2.) The religious differences(The colonists often (Not always) Believed differently the the British,) and 3.) The states wanted to be a free, independent nation without the British breathing down their necks.

2. Patrick Henry - Because the American colonies were being unfairly taxed my the british, and the high taxes directly affected people.

4. I don't think I'd blame any one person for the Salem witch trials. I think they were a result of poor judging, and never proved stories.

5. False. I think if they had more religious freedoms, they would have more conflicts with the king because they were more open minded.

6. 'George Washington. Was he really great?' In my opinion, he wasn't really all that great. Sure he was a great general and a great president, but he really didn't do much of significance. We have had dozens of presidants since George Washington, and dozens of generals. And all (Or most) has done an equal, (If not better) job at it then he did. He got the fame simply because he was first.
