Traditional

Traditional refers to something that has been handed down by, or performed with tradition. That is, a longstanding formal or informal custom, method or style which has endured for a considerable period of time.
With regards to jazz, traditional pertains to the older styles found in New Orleans, Chicago or Dixieland.
