Fluoroscope

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by NathanG (talk | contribs) at 01:49, October 4, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

A fluoroscope is a machine that uses x-rays and a fluorescent screen to display images in real-time. In modern machines, the screen may be replaced by a special camera and a computer display.

This process is used for bag scanning at airports, examination of packages in mail rooms, bomb squad, or for medical use.
