Mike Farrell likes to play the pacifist and he'll tell you how much it would pain him to see Iraqi or American blood spilled in the unjust war on Iraq. But back in 1985, in San Salvador, he assisted Dr. Alejandro Sanchez in a real-life operation to restore movement to the arm of Nidia Diaz, a guerilla leader of the Marxist Central American Worker’s Party. Just eight weeks ago, the MCWP machine-gunned four U.S. Marines at a sidewalk cafe, murdered two American businessmen, and then nine civilians. Nidia Diaz is still barred from entering the U.S. for her role in the murders. Sandra "Sand" Brim of Medical Aid for El Salvador, said, "Apparently, it was the most important role in his life." Medical Aid was founded by Farrell’s long-time friend and radical activist buddy, actor Ed Asner. Farrell was in the area to assist Amnesty International, another radical activist group that supports the efforts of groups like The Shining Path in Peru.
Mike Farrell told the Los Angeles Times after the operation, "I know this is going to look like a publicity stunt, but that’s too bad. It isn’t." No, it wasn't. It was a liberal traitor helping a Marxist terrorist with American blood on her hands to get back in the fight against the evil United States of America.
Mike Farrell and Ed Asner also founded the Committee of Concern for Central America and brought Nicaragua’s Communist Sandinista leader, Daniel Ortega, for a publicity tour of American cities. The WAPO reported that Ortega was in the US to counter the Reagan administration’s "disinformation" effort against Nicaragua’s communist government. Naturally, at a fundraiser for the Committee of Concern, Ortega raised his fist in the air and shouted, "If the United States commits the error of invading us, we know we will struggle with you at our side." They must have been Hollywood limo liberals. This is the real Mike Farrell, a Marxist sympathizer, anti-American, and a selective pacifist.
