Terah was the father of Abraham.[1] At first, he lived in Ur of the Chaldees, but later, he took his sons to Haran.[2]
Terah was an idolater.[3] In fact, there are suggestions that Terah actually "made and sold idols" and even required Abraham to sell idols for him.[4]
