Cancer is defined as the uncontrolled proliferation of cells in the body. Cancer can result from many causes.

Cancer is a very serious disease, causing terrible effects on the body. Often, cases of cancer will go into remission, in which the cells appear to have been eradicated, only to reappear and proliferate once more. Some cases can even result in death. Cancer is currently the #2 killer in the United States. Of the cancers, lung cancers tend to be the most devastating, with 94.3% resulting in death.
