Gilbert Stuart Self-Portrait

Gilbert Stuart (1755 – 1828) was an American painter. He painted portraits of over 1000 people.

Stuart is known for his portraits of some of the most famous men and women of his era in America. [1] National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
