Pig

A pig is an omnivorous mammal originally native to Europe. Bacon, pork, and ham come from pigs. Pigs have long snouts with flattened ends, curly tails, and are typically pink in appearance.
Footballs are traditionally made from a pig's skin.
Baby pigs are called piglets.
Biblical View
By rule of the Book of Leviticus, eating pigs or even handling their hide is an abomination. , "...the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you." (Leviticus 11:7-11:8).
