The phrase "Homosexuality is a choice" is used by gay rights advocates to misrepresent the position of homosexuality opponents. Scientists know that no one chooses to have homosexual desires; see homosexuality and choice. People can and do choose to perform homosexual acts, just as people can choose to commit adultery, engage in premarital sex (see Fornication), join a terrorist group, or take up basket weaving. --Ed Poor Talk 12:53, 8 December 2008 (EST)
