This is an old revision of this page, as edited by BRichtigen (Talk | contribs) at 13:30, December 9, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

The hyperbolic trigonometric functions are analogs of the standard trigonometric functions using a hyperbola as the defining conic section rather than a circle. They are defined as:

  • Hyperbolic sine:
  • Hyperbolic cosine:
  • Hyperbolic tangent:
  • Hyperbolic cosecant:
  • Hyperbolic secant:
  • Hyperbolic cotangent:
