The Sturmgewehr44 was a weapon developed by Nazi Germany in WWII. It combined the best parts of a rifle and a machinegun. The firer could either spray Allied soldiers with bullets or switch to semi-automatic and pick them off with head shots. The Communists were so impressed with it they designed their own version, which became the world famous AK-47 Kalashnikov.
