Celt

The Celts were a people who lived in Europe at the time of the Roman Empire. Originally Celts were in many places including modern France, modern Spain and the British Isles. Today Celtic populations still survive. Important places in Mainland Europe where there are Celtic populations are Britany (Bretagne) in France and the Basque region which straddles the border between France and Spain.
