A feminist typically has one or more of the following characteristics:

  • belief that women should have the same rights and privelages as men[Citation Needed]
  • dissaproval of traditional family roles, such as housewives[Citation Needed]
  • belief that single mothers are capable of raising well-adjusted children[Citation Needed]
  • insistence that women should have a right to choose the same lifestyle choices as men[Citation Needed]
