Rename
I think that this article should be moved to Expected Value and create a redirect from expectation (math) and expectation value to this page. Does this seem reasonable? In my experience expected value is the far more common term. AndyJM 09:59, 19 January 2009 (EST)
Both terms occur frequently in all kinds of literature. "Mathematical Expectation" is perhaps the more official math term, but "Expected Value", "Expectation Value" all occur frequently. Not really sure what the best way to handle this is. Perhaps wiki supports something like aliases? Qwestor 10:02, 19 January 2009 (EST)
