The Good Earth

The Good Earth is a novel by Pearl S. Buck first published in 1931 and awarded the Pulitzer Prize the following year. The novel is the first of a trilogy of books describing Chinese farmer Wang Lung, his progeny, and life in pre-revolutionary China.
