U2
U2 are a rock and roll band from Dublin, Ireland, comprised of four members: Bono (vocals), Edge (guitar), Adam Clayton (Bass), and Larry Mullen (drums). They are all Christians, worship regularly, and regularly speak of their faith in interviews. The band was formed in the late 1970's by the four schoolboys, naming themselves after a character's catchphrase on a popular Irish TV show of the day, 'Wanderly Wagon'. Bono has done great works for Our Lord in Africa, bringing missionary zeal to international affairs campaigning. He has frequently appeared at the socialist United nations and his speeches in support of the people of Iraq played a small but important role in the liberation of that country. Recntly he has launched the 'RED' product line with The Gap and other retailers, donating a large portion of the proceeds to African charity. Bono has three daughters, and a wife. Adam Clayton once dated the Supermodel Anna Nicol Smith, during the 1980's. Today they live in the Netherlands, having moved there to avoid the punitively high tax rates of the socailist Government of the Republic of Ireland.
They have recorded the following albums:
Boy October Under A Blood Red Sky November War Proide Acthung Baby Melon How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
