Samuel Lewis Francis (San Mateo, 1923 - 1994) was an American abstract painter, greatly influenced by Lyrical Abstraction. His works are at the Louvre, New Yorkâs Museum of Modern Art, and San Franciscoâs Museum of Modern Art. He also exhibited in Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and other art centers.
