As You Like It is a play written by William Shakespeare in approximately 1599. It is one of Shakespeare's romantic comedies.
It features the famous lines "All the world's a stage, / And all the men and women merely players: / They have their exits and their entrances; / And one man in his time plays many parts..." (Act 2, scene 7).
