Talcott Parsons

Talcott Parsons (December 13, 1902 - May 8, 1979) was a sociologist who developed structural functionalism, a sociological model that viewed family as a central aspect of society. His work was extremely influent during the Cold War era, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s.
