Rose Bird

The Honorable Rose Bird was the Chief Justice of the California State Supreme Court She was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown and served until ousted by voters. The Rose Bird Award is named after her. She passed away in 1999 due to breast cancer. Template:Stub
