Obamaspeak
Obamaspeak is meaningless content from Barack Obama or his campaign, often designed merely to appease a liberal interest group, take a position that is perceived to be popular, or satisfy a reporter's inquiry.
Bloggers commented on the Obamaspeak during his campaign for president.[1][2]
An example of Obamaspeak after the presidential election was when Obama first publicly opposed the Roland Burris nomination to the U.S. Senate, but within a week reversed himself (without admitting his error) as the perceived popular opinion shifted to the other side.
Obamaspeak can be compared with prior misuses of the mass media like Newspeak, which was a predicted variation of English that likewise attempted to dumb down the population in a senseless but efficient manner.[3]
