Some cuts:
- by a higher authority, a partner, or other interested parties
- such as a doctor or engineer
- Employees in some occupations crave recognition as professionals, but when they lack accountability they do not merit this recognition.
Accountability goes downward and outward - not just up. Examples of who a "professional" is, should go in that article. The craving for recognition is maybe not directly relevant; where should it go? --Ed Poor Talk 10:34, 13 January 2010 (EST)
