I question the accuracy of this article. Cleese in fact did admit that the film was probably blasphemous in his appearance on Live at Aspen. When one examines the film, despite the fact that the central figure is Brian, a person can see that it is basically making fun of people who believe in Christ. It shows masses of "stupid" people following Brian blindly and believing that he is the Messiah. A blind man claims he can see and then blindly falls into a hole. The film is making fun of Christians for believing in Jesus and miracles. Then showing anumber of cruxified people singing on crosses at the end mocks Jesus' cruxifiction. So the article trying to make out that because we are following the exploits of Brian the film isn't controversial is not correct. Dwain 14:50, 16 April 2010 (EDT)

I agree that the film is blasphemous. Please correct the article. --Ed Poor Talk 14:57, 16 April 2010 (EDT)
