Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) was a Russian composer of classical music in the twentieth century.

- In his piece, The Rite of Spring, which he wrote in 1913, he broke away from traditional views (like a liberal) of music by having the instruments play in different keys simultaneously. The Firebird is a popular Stravinsky ballet.
