Karl IX of Sweden (1550–1611) was a king of Sweden. He belonged to the Vasa dynasty, the youngest son of Gustav Vasa. He came into power by deposing his nephew Sigismund, who had tried to bring back Catholicism to the Lutheran Sweden.

He was succeeded by his son Gustav II Adolf, who would come to participate in the Thirty Years War.
