Obamageddon

Obamageddon, a portmanteau of the words "Obama" and "Armageddon" is a name given by self-described leading economic expert Gerald Celente to a predicted financial disaster in 2012, caused by the economic policies of the Obama administration. Celente, who claims to have successfully predicted the current recession, believes that the anti-business policies pursued by President Obama will cause a further financial collapse within four years of his taking office.
The term has also been used to describe the likely losses and failures that the Obama administration will face in the coming years due to public response to what some conservatives believe to be his socialist policies.
