The Japanese code of honor named after the 'Bushi'or Samurai.

It was a way of life for the them, more than just a code. Bushido had several points that it greatly stressed:

  • Loyalty
  • Self sacrifice
  • Justice
  • Sense of shame
  • Refined manners
  • Purity
  • Modesty
  • Frugality
  • Martial spirit
  • Honor
  • Affection

This lifestyle thrived until the late 1800's.
