Halo

A halo is a radiant circle of light above a person's head, often depicted in Christian art. Halos are associated with being good and holy, so they are present about the heads of Saints, Jesus, Mary etc.
In modern secular culture, the word halo is often associated with a violent video game series by that name - See: Halo (video game series)
