Gary Burton (b. January 23, 1943) is a famous vibraphonist whose work in the jazz and fusion industries have made him one of the most recognizable names in the percussion world today. He has collaborated with artists such as Chick Corea, with whom he has released some of his best selling albums. [1] His work has won 6 Grammy awards and 11 other nominations where he did not win.
