Richard L. Scott, commonly known as Rick Scott, is a businessman and Governor of Florida. From Naples, Florida, he is known for starting Columbia Health Care (which later merged with Hospital Corporation of America), and Conservatives for Patients' Rights. Rick Scott is a Christian just as many establishers of hospitals. He helped found the Naples Community Church in 2006. [1]
2010 Election
After a vigorous campaign, Rick Scott defeated Bill McCollum 46% to 43% in the primary election.[2] From there, Rick Scott went on to defeat Alex Sink 48.87% to 47.72% in the general election.[3]
