Major Query

Will someone please explain why things like Box & Whisker Plots, Acute angle are included in Algebra? Clearly this section has been written by someone with only a very basic knowlwdge of mathematics, and little understanding that Algebra is an encompassing term which includes things like commutative algebras, non-commutative Algebras, Clifford Algebras, Lie Algebras etc.

In addition, any attempt to discuss 'Algebra', should reference its origins. The first person to use this term was Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī (780-850),sin a text entitled al-Kitāb al-mukhtaṣar fī ḥisāb al-jabr wa-l-muqābala (Arabic: الكتاب المختصر في حساب الجبر والمقابلة “The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing”) written approximately 830 CE.
