Liberal hyperbole

Liberal Hyperbole generally refers to the characteristic of liberals to exaggerate and outright distort facts and information to further their cause. Examples of liberal hyperbole include:
- Exaggerating the dangers of a government shutdown
- Inflating the purported benefits of social security and other big-government programs
- Overstating the importance of intervention in Libya
Liberal hyperbole is entrenched in the liberal worldview. For example, President Obama's erroneous assertion that 10,000 people died in a Kansas tornado when in actuality only 12 died can be attributed to his endemic inclination towards hyperbole.
