Ho Chi Minh

Template:StubHo Chi Minh was a Vietnamese revolutionary who helped to establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a one-party Communist state. He was Prime Minister of the DRV from 1945 to 1955. He assumed the office of President in 1955 and remained there until his death on September 2, 1969. After the civil war ended in 1975, Saigon was renamed Ho Chi Mihn City in his honor.
