Totnes is a small market town in east Devon, south-west England. It has a large number of inhabitants associated with the New Age movements. These residents claim that the town's bus station lies at the meeting point of two powerful ley lines, explaining why several homeless individuals have sighted ghostly Celtic warriors in full battle dress queuing for a seat on the number 14. Totnes has a good selection of independent local shops as well as a number of national and international franchises. Local churches include Our Lady of Padua (Roman Catholic), Bethel Baptist, Totnes Evangelical, Totnes United Reformed and five Anglican churches. Most residents of Totnes are employed in the tourist industry.
