Debate: Should Christians be more forthright in stating that Allah is not the same being as the Judeo-Christian God?

Muslims regularly state that Allah is the same being as the Judeo-Christian God. This is at least partly to make proselytizing easier. How should Christians deal with these claims?--Boreas talk 16:55, 22 May 2010 (EDT)
Allah is the same as the Judeo-Christian God. The word 'Allah' means God in Arabic. However, the difference between Muslims and Jews and Christians is that they follow the Qu'ran as the true word of God. There is a difference in the central text of the religions, not God himself. EvelynJ
- It's a different interpretation of the god of Abraham. so es they are following the same god, but with a different interpretation then Christians do (the Islamic version is much more closer to the Jewish one in a number of aspects)--SeanS 08:43, 28 May 2011 (EDT)
