Anglicans

The Anglicans were the supporters of the Church of England during the 1600s in England.
They were called Anglicans because they lived in East Anglica, a region of England where Oliver Cromwell lived.
East Anglica includes the counties of Essex, Sussex, Wessex and Nossex. These names correspond to E(ast), S(outh), W(est) and N(orth) in Anglican Saxon English or Anglic as it used to be called.
